After a coffee break and a chat with our sponsors, a very interesting theme was presented by colleague Lena Tarubarova from ift Rosenheim. She showed us the “ift Q sign” quality mark as an additional quality assurance of a product, in this case a window, as well as factory production control as a prerequisite for CE marking.
There was a talk about the possibility of co-financing EU entrepreneurial projects spoken by Mr. Igor Bobek in front of the Croatian Chamber of Economy.
In the afternoon block, this year we predicted all the more up-to-date facades presented by our most respected guests and colleagues: Mr. Alexander Riemer (Alukönigstahl GmbH Austria), Mr. Zlatko Franolić (KFK d.o.o. Zagreb), and Mr. Goran Tešić (AluK Tim d.o.o. and Intelligent Technologies and Design d.o.o. Rijeka). Through the innovative solutions and systems of facades, they shared the experiences and challenges posed to them on increasingly demanding foreign markets. With regard to the topic, ift Rosenheim experts told us about everything they were doing as an institution for the topic of recognizing certificates and reports on the United States and United Kingdom markets.
We ended up the working day with a panel discussion of the current issue of the outflow of workforce, so we asked distinguished guests from renowned companies to tell us their experiences on this issue. Our feedback was given by Mr. Robert Križanović from Gealan, Mr. Aleksandar Terer from Profine Croatia, Mr. Zlatko Franolić from KFK, and Mr. Fahrudin Čongo from Rama Glas.
During the active day, there was time for mutual conversations exchange of experiences dialogue and meetings. We have used the opportunity to consult our experts from the branch and get the right answers on the spot.
Partner relationships and support for this fields have also been shown by numerous sponsors who not only closely follow world trends but also offer solutions and answers to all project challenges. Those are: Gealan, Alphacan, Inoutic, Rehau, Aluplast, Alukönigstahl, Profine Croatia, Veka AG, Würth, Heroal, Ilsad, Roto, Euro Roal and LB:Profile, Alumil, Rolka, Prozori i vrata magazine, along with the support from Croatian Wood Cluster and the Croatian Chamber of Commerce. A few ending words: after this fifth conference, which holds a record in visiting, there is a growing interest in security and anti-theft windows, not only because of the project fulfillment and legal frameworks, but also because of brand recognition on the market. Likewise, the sustainability of quality and its constant rise through factory production control became a necessary and unavoidable topic in every serious company focused on better positioning in the market.
We have to point out that aluminum suspended fasades are a very important segment, both in the foreign markets and in our region and we are proud we have domestic producers who are always ready to respond to the most demanding investor queries.

We would like to thank all of our sponsors and partners and we are looking forward to welcoming you all at the 6th international WINDOW DAY Conference in March, 2019.
