Window Day 2021 ift Rosenheim Hrvatska

The 8th International Conference “Window Day 2021 – ift Rosenheim Croatia” was held on September 21, 2021. in the Hotel Antunović, Zagreb. The Conference brought together leading regional and EU experts in the field of window technology and energy efficiency in buildings. Organizer ift Hrvatska d.o.o. managed to gather a number of experts and participants from the industry and about 20 partners/sponsors who presented numerous innovations and new modern and efficient window solutions. The conference was attended by over 200 participants from 8 countries in the region.

As every time, a special international dimension of the Conference was provided by German partner from the renowned Institute ift Rosenheim.

The conference was extremely informative with both the program and the topics of the lecturers. Thus, the day began with an introductory lecture by the organizers ift Croatia and ift Rosenheim, mr. Hrvoje Komac and mr. Roland Fischer, followed by an open panel discussion with the current topic The impact of the corona crisis on the window and door market. At an interesting and interactive panel discussion that also touched on labor, increasing the prices of raw materials, extending delivery times, stocks of materials and all other current topics in the industry, Krešimir Posilović (Rehau, Croatia), Alexander Riemer (Alukoenigstahl, Austria), Robert Križanović (Gealan, Croatia), Roland Fischer (ift Rosenheim, Germany) and Hrvoje Komac (ift Rosenheim, Croatia) participated in the panel discussion.

The introductory panel was followed by a topic by Alexander Riemer from Alukoenigstahl – Sales Analysis and Door Development, followed by a topic by Arslan Ozkan from Gealan, Germany – BIM and applications in the window and door industry.

After a coffee break and networking time in the sponsorship part of the conference, we started with topics on Factors of high quality window installation (Roland Fischer, ift Rosenheim), then Presentation of the Community PVC system provider for construction joinery (Krešimir Posilović, Vice President of the Community), Refurbishment of houses damaged in the earthquake (Tugomir Majdak, Ministry of Agriculture), and the topic Glass Fences, Interpretation of Technical Regulations and Practical Experiences (Nebojsa Buljan, RI ISA). After the lunch break in the afternoon part of the conference there was talk about Sound insulation of windows and the quality of living spaces (Zoran Veršić, Faculty of Architecture), News in Regulations, Regulation 305 (Miroslav Turk, ift Croatia), and at the end of the 8th conference WINDOW DAY concluded by the final panel.
